Grading and Expectations
Expectations
All students are expected to try their best in art class. Homework is rarely assigned. The students are only in art for 50 minutes once a week so using their class time and efforts efficiently is highly recommended.
Grading
Art projects are graded throughout the school year. Sometimes students use a self evaluation form. I then add teacher comments after the project is turned in. These evaluation sheets focus on effort, creativity, following project directions, and meeting Learning Targets.
